The Girl with the Tattoo is an original mixed-media portrait by Misty Lady (Malgorzata Nierobisz), combining contemporary female portraiture with retro cinematic inspiration.

The composition features a tattooed woman in an intimate interior, surrounded by warm sepia and brown tones. The fireplace, subdued lighting and vintage atmosphere give the work a cinematic quality influenced by the bold visual language of 1980s B-movie posters.

Decorative tattoos, lace details and expressive figure work create a striking contrast between sensuality, nostalgia and contemporary portraiture. Shadows and highlights add depth to the figure, while the limited warm palette reinforces the dramatic, retro character of the scene.

Created primarily with watercolour and enhanced with acrylic paint and ink, the artwork combines transparent washes, stronger graphic marks and detailed figurative elements on a richly textured fine art surface.
