Sinister Femme Fatale is an original mixed-media artwork by Jakub DK (Jakub Krzewniak), created on authentic pages from A Dictionary of The English And German Languages dating from 1909.

The work combines a dark female portrait with the aged typography and physical character of the original English-German dictionary pages. The historic text, neo-Gothic lettering and distressed paper become an active part of the composition, reinforcing its Gothic, macabre and cinematic atmosphere.

Created using Indian ink, acrylic paint and print techniques, the artwork brings together drawing, painted detail and reclaimed printed material in a large-format mixed-media composition.
