Cthulhu Gay Cowboys is a limited edition art print by Jakub DK (Jakub Krzewniak), blending Lovecraftian horror, surreal portraiture and the visual atmosphere of a 19th-century photograph.

The digitally created composition uses sepia tones, deliberate ageing and muted, decayed colour to give the image the character of an unsettling Victorian-era photograph. Cthulhu-inspired figures and cowboy imagery bring together cosmic horror, surrealism and an unexpected queer narrative.

Each print is individually produced on an authentic page from A Dictionary of The English And German Languages, published by Asher & Co. in 1909. The original triple-column typography and Gothic-style German text remain visible beneath the artwork, becoming part of the finished composition.
