Worm-Eater is a strange, darkly humorous original character painting by Jakub DK (Jakub Krzewniak), created with acrylic paints and markers on a genuine vintage English dictionary page from the 1930s.

Straight from an imaginary circus comes Worm-Eater — a peculiar oversized baby-like creature perched on a giant red-and-white ball and calmly enjoying a bowl of earthworms with a fork.

A large bib, makeshift sack covering its head, deep black eyes and a bizarre mechanical-looking mouth transform the seemingly playful scene into something much stranger. The result sits somewhere between absurd humour, creepy character art and surreal circus imagery.

The original typography of the vintage dictionary page remains visible beneath the painting, becoming part of the composition and giving the artwork another layer of texture and history.
