Underwater Beauty is an original mixed-media painting by Misty Lady (Malgorzata Nierobisz), capturing the strange beauty and shifting light of a figure submerged beneath water.

A young woman walks across the bottom of a swimming pool while the surface above her breaks into luminous reflections of blue, turquoise and warmer colours. Distorted by water and light, the figure appears suspended between reality and abstraction, creating a quiet, almost dreamlike atmosphere.

Misty Lady combines predominantly watercolour with acrylic paint and ink, allowing transparent washes, stronger painted accents and expressive linework to interact across the surface. The work is created on highly textured 240gsm aquarella fine art paper, whose surface adds further depth and character to the image.
