The Horror Show: Dead Lovers is a limited edition gothic art print by Jakub DK (Jakub Krzewniak), printed on a genuine vintage English dictionary page from the 1930s.

Two skeletal lovers gaze at one another in a macabre portrait that brings romance and mortality together. Styled to resemble an expressive pen drawing on aged paper, the composition has the character of a strange illustration discovered in the pages of an old book.

Part of The Horror Show series, Dead Lovers combines gothic romance, dark humour and memento mori imagery with authentic vintage typography. The original dictionary text remains visible beneath the artwork and becomes an integral part of the composition.

Each print is produced on an authentic page from The Universal Dictionary of the English Language. As every vintage page contains different words and natural traces of age, each finished print has subtle individual variations.
