Stellar Voyager is an original mixed-media artwork by Jakub DK, combining a female astronaut portrait with genuine vintage dictionary pages dating from 1909.

Created with Indian ink and acrylic paint, the work brings together science-fiction imagery and the aged typography of an original English–German dictionary. The contrast between the futuristic astronaut and the century-old printed pages gives the artwork its distinctive sense of time, exploration and discovery.

The original pages come from A Dictionary of The English And German Languages, published by Asher & Co. in 1909. Their naturally aged surface, German Gothic typography and traces of previous use form an integral part of the finished artwork.
