Jump in the Jaws of Love is a surreal and darkly playful art print by Jakub DK (Jakub Dominik Krzewniak), created around the wonderfully dangerous idea of surrendering yourself to love.

Romantic? Perhaps. Sensible? Probably not. The image turns love into something you willingly jump into even when it has teeth — a humorous visual metaphor for attraction, trust, risk and relationships.

The artwork is printed directly onto an authentic vintage dictionary or sheet music page. The original typography, natural patina and traces of age remain visible and become part of the composition. This is not a digitally simulated vintage background: every ordered print uses a genuine old page, so no two finished pieces are exactly alike.

Choose from four authentic vintage page options:

  • Small English Dictionary Page: approx. 13 × 20 cm / 5.1 × 7.9 in — from a vintage English dictionary, circa 1930s.
  • Large English Dictionary Page: approx. 20.3 × 27.2 cm / 8 × 10.7 in — from The Universal Dictionary of the English Language, edited by Henry Cecil Wyld, circa 1930s.
  • German–English Dictionary Page: approx. 19.3 × 27.5 cm / 7.6 × 10.8 in — from A Dictionary of the English and German Languages, published by Asher & Co., 1909.
  • Vintage Sheet Music Page: approx. 20.3 × 27.2 cm / 8 × 10.7 in — from Music For The Home, circa 1930s.
