Love doesn't always need an explanation. Sometimes an embrace is enough.

Embrace of Love by Misty Lady (Malgorzata Nierobisz) is a limited-edition art print portraying two men held together in an intimate embrace.

The figures emerge through expressive areas of colour, with fluid marks and vibrant tones contrasting against the ordered typography of the vintage page beneath them. The composition focuses on closeness rather than detail, allowing gesture, colour and the relationship between the two figures to carry the emotion of the artwork.

The image originates from an artwork by Misty Lady and each edition is individually printed on a genuine vintage page from The Universal Dictionary of the English Language, originally published in the 1930s.

Every dictionary page is different. Typography, paper tone and natural traces of age therefore vary between individual prints, giving each piece its own character.
